Now is the time for Marines and families to focus on financial readiness and retirement security. This year is especially important as a large portion of Marines are facing the choice of opting-in to the new Blended Retirement System (BRS). Decision in 2018.

All forms of visual art will be accepted (i.e. writing, painting, drawing, sculpture) Winners will be chosen from four age categories: Preschool-1st grade, 2nd-6th grade, 7th-12th grade and Adults.
Submissions taken at all Libraries between September 1-14. Art will be displayed at Mainside Library starting Sep 17 with voting open to the public at the Library and on Facebook Sep 17-Oct 5. Winners announced at the Pinata Fiesta on Oct 6.

Participants should have basic knowledge of each stroke and have ability to swim 100m freestyle continuously with rhythmic breathing in under 2 min. 45 sec.

If you have ever eaten a tortilla right off the griddle you will know just how good it can be! Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and learn how to make traditional flour tortillas. Homemade is much better than store bought! To celebrate Hispanic Heritage month, the Library will be holding events at all locations.
Children must be accompanied by a parent. All ages welcome, but children 5 and under will require assistance.

Come join us for a basic overview of the most common 3D printing technologies, materials, history and current applications. This is a great place to start for people unfamiliar with 3D printing and would like to learn more about it!Please register each person that will be attending separately, as registration guarantees your spot.
